Introduction
Our customers are notified by mail about each new BVQ version, this includes a download link to the newest BVQ.
BVQ updates and first-time installations follow the same workflow.
To create To establish an access point for BVQ, you need it's necessary to create system users on your systems.
Procedure
The initial setup can be divided into 6 subsequent stages:
- Installation wizard which guides you through the setup
- Maintenance page where BVQ is checking the environment and its own files
- Initial Configuration helps you to create your first scanner and therefore enables BVQ to receive the first data

- Grafana data sources must be adjusted after each implementation of a new HTTPS certificate
- BVQ GUI is an extensive tool, with which you are able to have direct access to your data

user accounts on the respective systems you wish to monitor.
For instance, if you have three NetApp clusters, you'll need to create a user account on each cluster.
This procedure is applicable to all systems you aim to connect to BVQ.
After creating a specific new user on a system, proceed to set up a BVQ Scanner on your BVQ Server using that user account.
The BVQ Scanner will then establish a connection to the system to collect the requisite data.
