Here, you can select one of our alerting rules templates (1) and continue with the wizard (2) or chose the advanced editor (3).

In the next step, the general settings are requested.
These are the name of the alerting rule (4),the located folder (5), if the result of the alerting rule has to be notificated (6), if the alerting rule should be shown in the SHM (7), in which category this alerting rule should be established (8).
With the Next-button (9), you will complete this step.

Now, can change the conditions of your alerting rule.

In this exaple, we took the template VM Host CPU utilization. This template includes our recommended thresholds and name pattern.

You still have the opportunity to specify the name pattern (10) or to adjust the thresholds (11).
By using the next button (12), the entered values will be checked and you will finish your work here.

Just click on the Done-button (13) to complete your work and the BVQ-Server will check from now on your environment with your alerting rule.If everything was correct you have created your own alerting rule.

Close the upcoming popup with the OK-Button (14).

If everything was correct you have created your own alerting rule.

Just click on the Done-button (13) to complete your work and the BVQ-Server will check from now on your environment with your alerting rule.
