About this task

It is possible to install BVQ in one folder only, these installations are not to be updated. The folders have to be moved prior to the update.

Procedure

1. Perform a snapshot copy of your VM
2. Make sure BVQ is running as expected
3. Stop the two services in the following order: bvq-server, bvq-mongodb
4. Create following folders out of your BVQ directory:

bvq-mongodb
        ˫db                   
        ˫logs  

        5. Copy following data files and folders in the created "db folder" (be aware the "bvq" folder below is the db name, the installation can have multiple dbs):

        6. Copy following log files in the created "logs" (be aware the installation can have multiple logs):

       7. Uninstall BVQ without the "data" & "logs" (available in the uninstall wizard)

       8. Delete the files and folders of the previous installation

       9. Install the same BVQ Version, which has been installed before, (MongoDB) choose the prepared db & logs folders using the "browse" buttons.

     10. Make sure BVQ is running as expected

     11. Update BVQ to your preferred version
