It may be needed to subsequently adapt the cache sizes. Mostly, they are corrected upwards, because e.g. the BVQ server is scheduled or the server works very slowly, which scan processes need too long or have the scanner problems.
We typically do this by reinstalling parts of BVQ and use the install wizards to modify the settings.
The main benefit of this is, that the next BVQ update will also use the new settings.
- Go to C:\Program Files\SVA\BVQ\bvq-installer\repository
- Start bvq-server-installer-x64-*.exe
- Proceed with next until you find the cache setting
- Extend Java max heap size or scanner max heap size and finish the installation
