- Brocade REST API is supported on SAN switches running Fabric OS 8.2.1b and later. All switches running earlier versions cannot be monitored by BVQ!
- Fabric related information is gathered from the principal switch. Please make sure that the fabric principal is running a supported FOS version!
- Brocade switches configured in access gateway mode are supported but need to be added to the scanner configuration manually.

Starting with BVQ 2022.H2.1, performance and topology data for Cisco MDS switches is collected using NX-OS API. Previously, those information were collected through the Cisco Data Center Network Manager (DCNM) using SMI-S.
