BVQ 2022.H2.1 released
October 12th 2022, BVQ version 2022.H2.1 was released. After 1 Family & Friends version this is now the first publicly available version for BVQ 2022.H1.x.
The release notes & changelogs for the new version can be found here: https://bvq.atlassian.net/wiki/display/BVQ/BVQ+2022.H2.
A brief overview of the new features in this version:
- Cisco SAN: Data collection changed from DCNM to NX-OS API (BVQ now scans the FC switches directly) - Please note the information from the BVQwiki (deletion of all existing data, new scanners must be configured, ...).
- SVAMon Integration: BVQ now has an interface to SVAMon and pushes information (e.g. alert results)
- Config Wizzard: The initial configuration wizard now welcomes you during a new installation. Here you can directly configure scanners and alerts. Afterwards, you can watch a short video to help you with alerting.
- Integrated DB Backup: Unfortunately we had to remove the current implementation of the integrated DB backup. You can find more information about this in the BVQwiki.
