VM Virtual machine alert template

VM Virtual Machine Alert Template .json

This is a template for a VMware Virtual Machine Alert, where the location of the VM Virtual Machine can be set via different filters.

The complete cascade from the vCenter via the cluster and the host is predefined in the alert and can be used as a filter.

Only a rule for this alert was defined so that the alert is in principle completely. The rules still have to be followed. Here you can get from the available system alerts ideas and work with Copy Paste.

Use:

* Delete all non-necessary filter levels and fill in the filter

* Define the correct rules

Please do not forget!

  • Enable, SHM Y/N
  • Check indicator timing and schedule
  • set the right categories
  • Add good comments and help to the new alert
