This is a template for a VMware Virtual Machine Alert, where the location of the VM Virtual Machine can be set via different filters.

The complete cascade from the vCenter via the cluster and the host is predefined in the alert and can be used as a filter.

Alert rule configuration

Alert Rules are organized in folders. You can create, edit or delete folders and subfolders. Folders can also be moved within the directory structure using drag & drop.

Click on "Create Alert rule" to add a new alert rule to an existing folder. You have the option to import a preconfigured alert rule from template or to create a completely new one using the advanced editor.

Click on "Import from file" to import folders with alert rules in json-format.
